Daisuke Matsuzaka pitched two-run ball in a seven-hit effort, and Hiroyuki Oshima and Hiroyuki Nakajima both homered, leading the front-running Seibu Lions to a 4-2 victory over the Orix BlueWave in the Pacific League on Monday.

Nakajima's leadoff homer in the fourth broke a 2-all tie and Matsuzaka (4-4) struck out eight and won in his second complete game, despite walking five in a 160-pitch outing at Yahoo BB Stadium.

Hisashi Ogura (1-1) lasted just three-plus innings after yielding three runs on six hits.

Marines 6, Fighters 4

At Chiba Marine Stadium, Saburo Omura and Tasuku Hashimoto both delivered solo homers and Lotte scored four times in the second en route to snapping a six-game losing slump with a victory in a 10-hit attack against Nippon Ham.

Lotte had lost 20-2 to the Fighters and 21-0 to the Hawks and drove in just three runs in as many games before Monday.
