Fuad Muzurovic has quit as manager of Cerezo Osaka after just three games in charge of the J. League first-division club, Cerezo officials said Wednesday.

Assistant coach Albert Pobor will likely take over as caretaker-manager with a permanent replacement for Muzurovic, who has been suffering with health problems, to be decided at a later date.

Muzurovic joined Cerezo after Croatian Nadoveza Petar, who was initially to manage the club this season, had his contract with the club annulled in January due to heart problems.
