Japan's Noriaki Kasai produced a sparkling performance to claim his first title in eight years at the HTB International Ski Jump on Saturday.

Kasai, who has just returned from World Cup duty in Europe, landed jumps of 118 and 122 meters on the K-120 Okurayama Hill in Sapporo to see off compatriot Akira Higashi and claim his third overall victory with 231 points. Higashi scored 225.9 points after nailing efforts of 121 and 117 meters for second, while Norway's Olav Magne Doennem came in third with 224.3 points.
