Hanshin Tigers southpaw Trey Moore, who was removed from the active roster Saturday due discomfort in his left elbow, has been diagnosed with damaged muscles in his throwing arm, club officials said Tuesday.

"Moore should be able to toss the ball around sometime this week," said Hanshin conditioning coach Shinji Ishihara.

Moore, 30, will practice on Hanshin's farm team in the meantime, but club officials did not say how long it would take for the injury to heal.

Moore, 10-4 in 17 starts this year, sustained the injury in his start last Friday.
