Actress Keiko Kitagawa and singer Daigo have registered their marriage, the couple announced Monday in their respective personal blogs.

"I am stepping out into a new life this year when I turn 30," Kitagawa wrote in her blog.

Daigo, a 37-year-old TV variety show fixture, wrote, "Together we hope to create a family that is rock 'n' roll and wisshu," using his meaningless pet word that presumably derives from a Japanese slang word for hello.

Daigo, lead singer of the rock band Breakerz, is a grandson of former Prime Minister Noboru Takeshita.
