Nissan Motor Co. said Friday it has agreed with the government of Bhutan to support the Himalayan country's goal to shift its automobiles to zero-emission electric vehicles using hydroelectric energy.
The Japanese automaker is planning to deliver its Leaf vehicles for use in the government fleet and as taxis, as well as demonstration vehicles. It will also provide quick chargers for a nationwide infrastructure network.
