Suzuki Motor Corp. has suspended operations at three plants in Shizuoka Prefecture as auto parts have not been delivered to them due to heavy snowfall over the weekend, Suzuki officials said Monday.
Operations have been suspended since Saturday night at the Kosai plant in the city of Kosai, producing Suzuki's mainstay Wagon R minicars, and the Iwata plant in the city of Iwata. Operations stopped Monday at the Sagara plant in the city of Makinohara.
Suzuki has not decided how long the suspension will last, the officials said.
