Panasonic Corp. said Wednesday it will postpone the launch of its 4K tablet computer until mid-February due to glitches found to affect radio waves of other electric appliances.

The 20-inch tablet with 4K technology, which displays images at four times the resolution of high-definition, had originally expected to hit the market in December in Japan and Europe and in January in the United States.

The company will modify the product's design and add some parts to fix the problem but will maintain its projected retail prices starting at ¥450,000.

The electronics maker will sell the product mainly to companies and medical institutions for professional use.
