A citizens’ group in Okinawa will host an event to express support for sexual minorities by wearing pink on July 14.
Pinkdot Okinawa, to be held in Naha, will be the first event of its kind in Japan, according to Okinawa Rainbow Alliance, the main organizer. The alliance works on gender and sexuality issues in the prefecture. Details of the event are available on the website http://pinkdotok.jp/.
