Trading house Marubeni Corp. announced Tuesday it has agreed to globally market processed shrimp products from Seafresh Industry PCL of Thailand.
The strategic alliance, concluded April 24, also envisages a future capital tieup. Marubeni, which exclusively sells the Thai firm's processed shrimp for sushi in the domestic market, plans to distribute a variety of its products in Europe and the Americas while broadening the range on offer in Japan.
