Suzuki Motor Corp. has reported that it will recall around 102,000 vehicles in the United States to repair a wiring defect that may prevent headlights from turning on, sources said.

Subject to the recall are Forenza models made between 2004 and 2006 and Reno models made between 2005 and 2006, the sources said Saturday.

Meanwhile, Isuzu Motors Ltd. and General Motors Co. are recalling more than 258,000 sport utility vehicles sold in the United States and Canada "to fix short circuits in power-window and door-lock switches that can cause fires."

The five models involved include the Isuzu Ascender, which GM manufactured for Isuzu between 2006 and 2007.
