The government gave Yutaka Yoshizawa, ambassador to South Africa and Namibia, additional portfolios as ambassador to Swaziland and Lesotho on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said.

Yoshizawa, 61, who joined the Foreign Ministry in 1974, became ambassador to South Africa in January and Namibia in June after concurrently serving as ambassador to Fiji, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Nauru and Vanuatu.
