BEIJING – The oldest son of late Chinese reformist leader Hu Yaobang has canceled his plan to go to Japan to promote a TV documentary, sources involved with bilateral relations said.
Hu Deping, a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, had been scheduled to visit from Monday through Saturday to promote a TV documentary featuring secret episodes of friendship between Japan and China, the sources said Sunday.
