WASHINGTON – U.S. President Barack Obama will meet Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on April 30 in Washington to discuss the bilateral security alliance as well as global and regional security concerns, the White House said Tuesday.
There has been no formal Washington summit between the two nations’ leaders since the Democratic Party of Japan, now headed by Noda, swept to power in September 2009.
