PARIS (Kyodo) French automaker Renault SA said Thursday it has lodged a criminal complaint with Paris prosecutors over alleged leaking of information on its electric vehicle technology.

The complaint was filed earlier in the day against "persons unknown for acts constituting organized industrial espionage, corruption, breach of trust, theft and concealment," it said in a statement.

In the suspected case of industrial espionage, information such as structures of electric vehicles and pricing has been leaked, according to reports by Radio France and others. Renault is in a tieup with Nissan Motor Motor Co.

Three of Renault's executives were reportedly involved in the leak, but they have all denied the allegation.
