OSAKA (Kyodo) The Japan unit of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., India's top information technology services firm, said Tuesday it has opened its second Japanese office in Osaka, spearheading the Indian business conglomerate Tata Group's inroads into the Kansai region.
Tata Consultancy Services Japan Ltd., which has its Japanese head office in Yokohama, said the Osaka office will start business with three employees, aiming to improve services for existing customers in the region.
It also plans to lure new clients chiefly from manufacturers, drug firms and financial services providers in fields such as systems and software development, the company said.
