NAHA, Okinawa Pref. (Kyodo) Police will turn over to prosecutors their case against a U.S. soldier for alleged involvement in a fatal hit-and-run in Yomitan, Okinawa Prefecture, investigative sources said Tuesday.

The papers on the 27-year-old U.S. Army staff sergeant, who is suspected of negligence while driving resulting in death, are expected to be sent as early as Monday, according to the sources.
