Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada on Monday expressed “strong concerns” over Iran’s nuclear program to visiting Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, Foreign Ministry official said.

Okada was quoted as telling Jalili “it is extremely regrettable that a dispute” has erupted over a U.N.-brokered proposal to transfer low-enriched uranium out of Iran to convert it into fuel for a medical research reactor.
