Five Japanese tourists are believed to have died in a fire at an indoor shooting range in the South Korean port of Busan on Saturday, according to local police.

While only two deaths have so far been confirmed, the head of a local police station said they believe a total of five Japanese were probably killed in the blaze, according to Yonhap news agency.

The fire broke out around 2:25 p.m. and swept through the second-floor shooting range before being extinguished about 40 minutes later, according to the police.

A group of nine Japanese men belonging to a tour group were at the range at the time of the fire, and at least two of them have been confirmed as dead, the police said.
