KYOTO (Kyodo) Four adults and two children on a fishing outing from Maizuru, Kyoto Prefecture, were rescued Monday morning by helicopter along a rocky stretch of coast, the Japan Coast Guard said.
Those rescued included Shigeyuki Kamon, 51, who runs a gardening business in the city, and Kamon’s friends, Yoshio Hamada, 52, and Tatsuro Onishi, 48, the coast guard said. The identities of the remaining three — one woman and two children — were not immediately available.
