NAGASAKI (Kyodo) Four more bodies were recovered from a salvaged fishing boat Saturday after two others found earlier were identified as the vessel's captain and chief fisherman, the local coast guard said.

The boat sank off Nagasaki Prefecture in April.

The bodies were identified as Yoshinori Tsukamoto, 44, the boat's captain, and Kiyoshi Motogawa, 61. They were among 12 crew members who disappeared when the Daiei Maru No. 11 capsized in heavy waves and sank with a crew of 22 off Hirado on April 14.

Ten of the 22 were rescued by other fishing boats. They said Tsukamoto and Motogawa urged them to abandon ship while they stayed at the helm.

The bodies of Tsukamoto and Motogawa were recovered Friday when the coast guard began searching the boat, which was recovered Tuesday from a depth of about 80 meters.

The coast guard is still searching for the other six crew members.
