OSAKA (Kyodo) A Chinese woman accused of killing her Japanese husband and two other men in a scheme to inherit her husband’s assets pleaded not guilty Monday in the Osaka District Court.

“I’m innocent,” Yin Lina, 53, said as her trial got under way, denying charges that she murdered Zenichiro Kato, 77, at their home in the city of Osaka around October 2001, to illegally obtain his assets.
