OSAKA (Kyodo) The number of H1N1 swine flu infections rose to 420 Saturday after six people tested positive for the highly infectious disease.

The Chiba Prefectural Government said two women aged 21 and 23 who work at a lounge in Narita airport were confirmed as having the new H1N1 strain of influenza A. The area in which they work is accessible only by passengers who have completed embarkation procedures.

In Osaka, meanwhile, the city government said a 6-year-old boy was infected with the new flu during a recent trip to Hawaii with his family in which he spent time with a man from Osaka Prefecture who also was found infected.

The other three are a 27-year-old man from Yokohama who works in Tokyo, a boy in Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, who returned from the United States on May 29, and a junior high school student in Fukuoka Prefecture, local authorities said.
