Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen will visit Japan for six days starting Monday accompanied by two ministers and a trade mission representing over 60 firms, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

In addition to Cowen meeting Prime Minister Taro Aso and delivering a foreign policy address, a number of important trade and investment-related deals with Japanese partners are expected to be announced during the visit, the Irish Embassy in Tokyo said.
