Some 20 day laborers in Tokyo lodged a petition Monday with the Internal Affairs and Communications Ministry saying they deserve a share of the planned government cash handout even if they are not listed in resident registries.
The ¥2 trillion handout, planned for next spring, targets only people listed in the Juki Net national resident registry network.
