Popular actor Toru Minegishi died of lung cancer Saturday night at a Tokyo hospital, his management office said Monday. He was 65.
Minegishi, whose real first name is Tomoo, was notified of his disease in April.
While gaining popularity as an action star in movies and TV dramas, he was also known for his supporting roles.
