Auto parts maker Denso Corp. has received a notice from the Nagoya Regional Taxation Bureau to pay about ¥7.3 billion in back taxes, the company said Tuesday.
The tax bureau determined that Denso made errors on transactions between the company and its overseas subsidiaries, resulting in lower reported income and a reduced tax bill over a six-year period, the company said.
