OSAKA (Kyodo) The Osaka Securities Exchange announced Friday it has approved the application to list Chinese online game provider Nineyou Information Technology (Shanghai) Co. on its Hercules market for startups.
Nineyou, which provides online dancing, music and other games, will go public on July 12 and will be the second company from mainland China to be listed on a Japanese stock exchange. The company, founded in 2004, has about 700 employees and also operates an Internet portal.
It booked group net sales equivalent to 6.9 billion yen for the business year through December with a net profit worth about 2.1 billion yen.
