After 20 years of collecting prints, Johan Somerwil was finally able to heave a big sigh -- he had just become the owner of the 50th work of the series "Taiheiki Eiyu Den" ("Heroes of the Great Pacification") by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861).

"It was a great relief," he said, "to finally get possession of this final one. At the same time, to find the last missing link in the series was most exciting of all."

Somerwil found his long-awaited last print in a San Francisco dealer's catalog.
