A 48-year-old man was arrested Monday for damaging a female acquaintance's car by pouring his urine on it.

Toyohiko Takahashi, a corporate employee from Shimizu, Shizuoka Prefecture, was caught red-handed by a police officer at around 3:40 a.m. Monday in a parking lot in Mishima, where the 48-year-old woman lives.

Police said Takahashi was caught pouring a "yellowish liquid" from a 4-liter PET bottle.

The frantic woman called police, and the officer who rushed to the scene confirmed the liquid was urine.

More than 1 liter was left in the bottle when the officer arrived, police said.

They believe Monday's incident was not the first time Takahashi damaged the woman's property or harassed her. She said she has been repeatedly tormented since February.
