OSAKA (Kyodo) Yukari Onishi, 41, wears a stylish miniskirt as she belts out tunes at Tsutenkaku Song Theater, in the basement of the famous Tsutenkaku Tower in Osaka's rough and tumble Shinsekai district.
Known as the "Queen of Showa Era songs," Onishi specializes in popular tunes from around 1970, including those by Maki Asakawa, Seri Ishikawa and Mirei Kitahara.
Her shows draw both young and old.
