Japan's most closely watched money supply gauge rose 2.2 percent in November from a year before, following a 2 percent rise in October, the Bank of Japan said Thursday in a preliminary report.
The average daily balance of M2 plus certificates of deposit came to 707.7 trillion yen, up from a revised 705.9 trillion yen in October. M2 consists of cash in circulation, demand deposits and quasi-money.
