The tropical ambience of Miyazaki Prefecture once made it a mecca for honeymooners.
Now its trying to make a comeback by capitalizing on the current South Korean boom.
At a news conference in the city of Miyazaki in late August, Ryu Shi Won and Chan Nara, who in the South Korean TV drama "Wedding" play newlyweds on their honeymoon there, said they will recommend that real honeymooners in their home country choose Miyazaki as well.
