Russian Ambassador Alexander Losyukov, European Union Minister Michael Reiterer and former U.S. Ambassador Howard Baker are just a few of the diplomats whose photos will be exhibited in Tokyo from Thursday.

The works of about 60 envoys to Japan and their spouses, representing 27 countries as well as the European Commission and the General Mission of Palestine, were selected from among more than 500 submissions on the exhibition's theme "Man and Nature: Wisdom of Interaction."

Organizers said the photos in the eighth annual "Japan through Diplomats' Eyes," which will travel to Nagoya next month and to Osaka in December, show colorful images of the country's cultural image.
