OSAKA (Kyodo) Sharp Corp., the nation's top maker of liquid crystal displays, will acquire Fujitsu Ltd.'s LCD operations, including related patents, the two companies said Monday.
The two companies did not reveal the agreed acquisition cost for the deal. Fujitsu plans to withdraw from the highly competitive field.
