The winning numbers for the annual New Year’s postcard lottery were drawn Sunday at a ceremony held by Japan Post.

The winning numbers for first prize, which can be selected from five items including a trip to Hawaii and a laptop computer, were 120767 or 470873.

Second prize, in which winners can chose from five items including a digital camera and travel gift coupons, goes to those holding cards whose final five digits are 40135.

Third prize goes to holders of cards whose last four digits are 4970 or 8165 . They can choose from a selection of local specialties from around Japan.

Fourth prize, a sheet of commemorative stamps, goes to those with cards bearing the last two digits of 34, 16 or 64.

Winners should bring their cards to a local post office to redeem them for their prizes by July 19.

A total of some 4.367 billion cards were issued this New Year’s, according to Japan Post.
