A bus and travel company is offering a 6,000-km bus tour around Japan lasting 21 days.

The trip will cover the nation's four main islands.

Miyazaki Kotsu Co. planned the bus tour to mark the 77th anniversary of its creation.

It is seeking about 60 people for the tour, which costs 650,000 yen per person if sharing a double-occupancy hotel room or 600,000 yen each for those sharing a hotel room for three or more people.

The tour will leave Miyazaki on Aug. 24 and return to the city Sept. 13.

Miyazaki Kotsu said the tour will take in Japan's three most scenic attractions: Matsushima in Miyagi Prefecture, Amanohashidate in Kyoto Prefecture and Miyajima in Hiroshima Prefecture, as well as popular spa resorts such as Dogo Onsen in Ehime Prefecture.

In addition to entertainment programs, the tour will provide health-care attention, including checking passengers' blood pressure and pulse.

"We hope our guests will discover a new Japan through a leisurely bus tour," an official at Miyazaki Kotsu's domestic tour planning department said.
