Three more Brazilians were arrested Friday on suspicion of involvement in the death of a Japanese-Brazilian in Showa, Yamanashi Prefecture, in mid-January.

The arrests came a day after Yamanashi Prefectural Police arrested Agren Everaldo Ogusuku, 26, on suspicion of killing 21-year-old Japanese-Brazilian Henry Itiro Goto at an empty office in Showa's Saijo district.

Police said unemployed Nelson Silva, 32, and two other Brazilians were arrested on suspicion of killing Goto in conspiracy with Ogusuku. The three are Ogusuku's friends.

Goto had several stab wounds to his neck. Goto, who was unemployed, used the empty office space near JR Kunibo station as a shelter, police officials said.

Police found Goto's body after someone called the Minami Kofu police station Thursday morning.
