NEW YORK – Yoshinoya D&C Co., which runs the Yoshinoya fast-food chain, marked the “opening” of its 1,000th store worldwide Monday with a special ceremony at its new outlet in New York.
The Times Square 42nd Street store, located in midtown Manhattan, will offer the usual Yoshinoya menu items, featuring “gyudon” beef bowls, in addition to some American fare including clam chowder and cheesecake.
