TAKAMATSU, Kagawa Pref. (Kyodo) Matsushita Kotobuki Electronics Industries Ltd. said Monday it will shut down three of its factories in Shikoku as part of its restructuring program.

Matsushita Kotobuki President Tomiyasu Chiba said the company, hard hit by woes plaguing the information technology sector, has also proposed to its labor union that it relocate its headquarters in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, to Kawauchi, Ehime Prefecture, by the end of June.
