Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will make a nine-day visit to Japan starting Wednesday, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Friday.

During his stay, Hun Sen will attend a meeting of aid donors to Cambodia in Tokyo on June 12 and June 13 and hold talks with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, Deputy Press Secretary Chikahito Harada said.

The Cambodian leader is also scheduled to attend an international conference on the future of Asia, to take place Thursday and Friday under the sponsorship of the Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper.

He will also visit Oita Prefecture from June 9 to June 11, the ministry said.
