Mexican President Vicente Fox will pay an official visit to Japan on June 5 and 6, the government said Tuesday.
Fox is expected to meet the Emperor and to hold talks with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi on June 5, government officials said.
It will be Fox's first visit to Japan since he took office in December.
The visit constitutes the second leg of a three-nation Asian tour that will also see Fox visit South Korea and China, according to the officials.
