An 18-year-old Pakistani student here will lodge an accusation with the Niigata Public Prosecutor’s Office this week against a police officer alleged to have drunkenly attacked him in front of a train station here, a lawyer representing the youth said Sunday.

The policeman, 42-year-old assistant police inspector Tadanori Kazama, has already received administrative punishment.
