The Justice Ministry granted refugee status to five people Wednesday, bringing to seven the total number of refugees recognized this year.
In keeping with tradition, the ministry did not release the names, sex or nationalities of the five recipients.
The ministry did say three of the refugees had reapplied for refugee status after previously being turned down.
