The Yokohama Festival for International Cooperation ’98 will be held at the Sangyo Boeki Center Building in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Saturday and Sunday.

The festival is aimed at promoting understanding of the activities of nongovernmental organizations and encouraging support. Some 70 NGOs will offer information about their activities through consultations, publications and booth exhibitions. The festival will also feature seminars on the activities of 14 NGOs.

The event will run from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. For more information, call the office at (045) 671-7128.
