For Roland Oldham, last month's publication of French Defense Ministry documents on the country's nuclear tests in the South Pacific was no surprise.
The French weekly magazine Nouvel Observateur reported that France continued nuclear tests in the South Pacific in the 1960s despite French authorities' knowledge that local residents were being exposed to dangerous levels of radiation.
