The Nagano Olympic and Paralympic Homestay Program Committee is inviting friends and families of officials and athletes participating in the Games to apply for free accommodation in Nagano.Between Feb. 1 and Mar. 15, qualified visitors will be able to stay two or three nights -- but no more than a week -- in the homes of Nagano citizens. Those who are interested should submit application forms to their respective country's Olympic or Paralympic committees, who will file the application along with a recommendation letter.The guests are expected to adopt a Japanese lifestyle during their stay in Nagano, including taking their shoes off in the home and bathing Japanese style.
