Coca-Cola Co’s latest carbonated creation, Coca-Cola Life, launched in Japan earlier this month with the promise of fewer calories and less sugar via the use of stevia leaf extract, a sweetener that’s apparently better for the body.
All of this is just slick branding, though, as the drink still contains four teaspoons of sugar.
For mine, they might as well stick with the original Coca-Cola, as Life attempts to deliver the same taste with a mediocre result. Either indulge in the flagship fizzy drink, if that’s your thing, or drink water. This option isn’t for life.
