In this 2013 drama two college friends (Sakura Ando and Aoi Miyazaki) enlist a young stranger (Shioli Kutsuna) to drive them north to visit a former classmate (Kazue Fukiishi) who attempted suicide. The ensuing action feels like it was shot on the fly, but as the conflicted emotions of the four women are revealed, the film develops a deeper impact than the earlier sequences imply.
