Thinking of booking a holiday? Before laying down your deposit, head to Japan's only English-language travel exhibition, Kudos Travel Fair, which takes place on March 24 at The Garden Hall, Yebisu Garden Place, Tokyo, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

The fair, first held in 2002, brings together a range of exhibitors representing airlines, hotel companies, car rental services and domestic and international destinations under one roof.

English-language material and advice will be on hand. In particular, the anticipated 1,000 attendees will be able to find information on hot-spring equipped ryokan, beaches, island resorts, ski trips, relaxation holidays and outdoor adventure activities.

Admission to the fair is free and the first 200 visitors will win a prize. Additional prizes will be drawn throughout the event, although visitors must be in the room to win.

To get to Yebisu Garden Place, follow directions from JR Ebisu Station. For more information, visit jp-kudos.com
